Prep School Concert 2026: A Celebration of Talent, Teamwork and Tradition

The Prep School Concert 2026 was a spectacular celebration of creativity, confidence and the collective spirit of Bishop Cotton School. Bringing together every boy from Classes 4 to 8, the Concert achieved an inspiring 100% participation, giving each young Cottonian an opportunity to contribute to the magic of the evening.

The programme showcased a vibrant tapestry of theatre, dance and music. The Hindi presentation, Deepdaan, combined powerful storytelling with traditional Hindi dance sequences, while an excerpt from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream brought English theatre to life through drama and dance. The evening was further enriched by instrumental performances and soulful choir singing.

The Concert was honoured by the presence of Ms. Rubina Dilaik, acclaimed actress and television personality, as the Chief Guest, whose presence added to the excitement and grandeur of the occasion.

What truly distinguished the evening was its entirely in-house production. Every element of the Concert—from acting, choreography and music to costumes, makeup, props, lighting and sound—was conceptualised, prepared and executed by the teachers and students of Bishop Cotton School. No external performers or production teams were involved. The stage, therefore, became a true reflection of the creativity, commitment and collaborative spirit of the Cottonian community.

The celebrations also reached beyond the school campus through a live stream of the Concert, enabling parents, families and well-wishers who could not be present in person to share in the performances and celebrate the achievements of the boys.

The Prep School Concert was ultimately much more than an evening of performances. It was a celebration of participation, teamwork, self-expression and the spirit of every young Cottonian—a production created entirely by the school, for the school, and with every boy playing his part.
