Know Us Better
The Sapan Walia Outreach Programme
Community services are an integral part of the school curriculum. The students are encouraged to participate in them.
Service is not a new idea to Bishop Cotton School, to Cottonians.
Community service is a life-changing way to shape young minds into meaningful ones. Far too many people need our help in this world. When more of the younger generation realizes this, we will live in a much better place.
Community service changes young minds for the better. When students start to commit themselves to missions like this at a young age, we realise there is so much more to life than social media, online gaming, good food and movies!
Education brings opportunity.
Community service entails significant points once students start applying in universities. Scholarship opportunities in select colleges are also made available to those who are active members of an Interact Club. This opportunity presents a rare chance to make the most of your education.!
Therefore, Bishop Cotton School presents students with an opportunity in the form of an Interact Club sponsored by The Rotary Club, Shimla. This was done in a formal induction ceremony on 16th July, 2024 in the historic Irwin Hall. It brought together a faculty advisor and 30 students of grades 10- 12 to
• Take action to make a difference in the school and community

• Become a leader in the school and community
• Have fun and make new friends from around the world
Also Hope Foundation led by two faculties and students from Class 10th and above volunteer in:

Socially Useful Productive Work is part of the ICSE requirements and various activities are undertaken by each student for which he is graded at the end of the year.
Through our community service initiatives, we aim to sensitize our students to social issues and develop civic sense. By empowering young minds, we believe we can create a brighter future for our community.
