Dining Area & Kitchen

Bishop Cotton School serves a vegetarian and non-vegetarian diet for its pupils, cooked in a hygienic kitchen by outsourced expert catering staff.

The menu includes a variety of delicious dishes – North Indian, South Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisines, and sumptuous snacks – followed by an elaborate spread of desserts. The menu is planned in consultation with the Housemasters/ Eaterer and the School Prefects.

Every day, five meals are served:  chotta hazari, breakfast, lunch, teatime snack, dinner.

Discipline and decorum pervade the dining hall and students begin every meal with a prayer/ grace.
