The senior most students of Bishop Cotton School, Shimla were recognized last night in the school chapel with an investiture service for the new prefects, where the school flags were handed over in an impressive ceremony. During the service the new prefects were asked to take an oath, by the Director, to fulfil their duties in the true spirit of loyalty to benefit their fellow students.
The school flags were passed onto the new Captains of each House giving these boys responsibility and useful leadership opportunities in school. Chief guest, OC Captain Vivek Bhasin, also welcomed the 2023 leavers to the Old Cottonians Association and handed out their OC ties at the farewell dinner, along with a school momento plate with individual names printed on them.
It was an emotional night that saw boys getting up to thank their batchmates and teachers for their guidance and friendships over the years. We wish the Cottonians all the best for their future endeavors as they step out into the world with their dreams and aspirations.
